People + Talent Advisor
Purpose of the job
The People + Talent Advisor role works closely with the People + Talent, Business Partner to add value to our successful business by providing effective generalist HR advice to line managers across the business with varying levels of people management experience. The role sits within the People+Talent team and reports to the People+Talent Business Partner.
The Advisor is responsible for assisting with the day-to-day activities supporting our projects in the North LATAM Region. They will provide customer focused, comprehensive and pragmatic generalist HR advice in line with company policies and procedures and employment legislation aligned to local legislation. They will actively contribute to several projects in line with our People Strategy.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide a first-class HR consultancy service to line managers by ensuring compliance with policy, procedures and legal requirements, managing employee relation issues.
- Support hiring managers through strong relationships with our recruitment partners, ensuring we support the recruitment process commercially and professionally from the advertising stage through to the offer stage.
- Work with new employees to ensure they are fully inducted into our business during and up to the successful completion of their probation period.
- Provide guidance on areas such as performance reviews, absence management, maternity leave, liaising with other departments/specialists where appropriate.
- Support business and HR projects, leading where appropriate.
- Support the performance management and objective setting process for the business, advising on performance improvement plans and personal development plan initiatives.
- Assist the People+Talent, Business Partners with transfers, promotions, adjustments or any other employment changes.
- Provide HR advice to line managers and employees. Ensuring compliance with organizational policy, procedures, and legal requirements. Coaching managers to develop a best practice approach to people management.
- Provide general administrative support as required for areas such as starters, movers, leavers, benefits, and visa applications.
- Contribute to the review, design and implementation of HR processes, procedures and policies as required and in line with current legislation and best practice.
- Lead the onboarding and offboarding process for North LATAM Region.
- Lead the wellness North LATAM Plan and lead the logistics of the events.
- Experience working internationally, ideally with a company that operates in more than 1 location in Latin America. (Critical: Colombian Law Experience)
- 3+ years of experience in Human Resources
- Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Administration, or related discipline.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Team player with strong customer service orientation and interpersonal skills
- Able to work independently within established guidelines and procedures
- Organized and efficient, with excellent time management skills
- English required (B1/B2) Able to keep a conversation with the managers.
- Demonstrable record of general operational HR experience.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of Mex employment law, LATAM exposure an advantage.
- Flexible and capable of working with multiple projects at the same time.
- Experience with HR information systems (Dayforce experience is a plus).
- Numerate with a sound understanding of financial principles and procedures.
- Professional services industry and/or multi-site background, an advantage.
