Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to support key accounting operations, including month-end close activities, fixed asset accounting, journal entry preparation, account reconciliations, and financial reporting support. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of US GAAP, advanced Excel skills, and experience working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

General Accounting & Month-End Close

• Prepare and post journal entries related to commissions, salaries, benefits, and other accounting transactions.
• Review supporting documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting policies.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
• Maintain accurate and complete accounting records.
  
  

Fixed Asset Accounting

• Manage fixed asset records across multiple entities and countries.
• Maintain fixed asset schedules and asset listings.
• Prepare monthly depreciation calculations and journal entries.
• Record asset additions, disposals, transfers, and adjustments.
• Review and assign proper accounting codes for fixed asset purchases.
• Reconcile fixed asset subledgers to the general ledger and investigate discrepancies.
  
  

Account Reconciliations & Financial Controls

• Review and approve balance sheet reconciliations prepared by other accounting team members.
• Ensure reconciliations are completed accurately and in accordance with internal controls and responsibility matrices.
• Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies and variances.
• Support audit requests and financial reporting requirements.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP.
• Proven experience with month-end close and account reconciliation processes.
• Experience with fixed asset accounting and depreciation.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and data analysis functions.
• Experience with ERP systems and accounting software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  
  

Schedule: Monday to Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Compensation: USD 2,000/month
