About The Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive finance professional to oversee day-to-day financial operations while driving process improvements across accounting, billing, reporting, and financial systems. This role combines hands-on financial management with a strong focus on operational efficiency, automation, and continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate has a solid accounting background, excellent analytical skills, and a systems-oriented mindset. They are comfortable managing financial operations while identifying opportunities to streamline workflows, strengthen controls, and improve reporting accuracy.

Core Responsibilities

• Manage daily cash reconciliation across Authorize.net, bank deposits, Salesforce, QuickBooks, and customer payment records.
• Own recurring billing reconciliation, failed payment follow-up, collections, and payment issue resolution.
• Ensure subscription/recurring billing activity is properly tracked, collected, and reflected in the financial records.
• Critical to help us optimized recurring billings and collect on overdue payments
• Manage bookkeeping, journal entries, month-end close, and preparation of monthly financial statements.
• Maintain accurate AR/AP records and support cash flow visibility.
• Oversee inventory reporting, inventory reconciliation, and inventory optimization processes.
• Help improve inventory controls, usage tracking, purchasing visibility, and financial reporting around inventory.
• Identify gaps in financial workflows and implement practical improvements.
• Improve reporting, reconciliation, collections, billing workflows, and internal controls.
• Use AI tools, automation, and better systems design to reduce manual work and improve accuracy.
• Work closely with operations, sales, customer service, and leadership to ensure clean financial data and timely reporting.
  
  

Required Experience

• Strong experience with QuickBooks.
• Experience with payment processors; Authorize.net strongly preferred.
• Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM systems preferred.
• Strong bookkeeping, reconciliation, month-end close, AR/AP, and financial reporting experience.
• Experience with recurring billing, failed payment workflows, collections, and customer account reconciliation.
• Experience with inventory tracking, inventory accounting, or inventory optimization.
• Strong Excel / Google Sheets skills.
• Comfortable using AI tools, automation tools, or reporting tools to improve processes.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow through daily.
• Able to communicate clearly with leadership and cross-functional teams.
