Role Overview:

We are looking for a highly skilled Backend Developer with 3–5 years of professional experience, ideally in projects involving platform integrations. In this role, you will design, build, and maintain backend processes that connect multiple systems, ensuring seamless data flow, accuracy, and security.

You will work closely with our technical and operations teams, following structured project management methodologies to deliver integration solutions that improve efficiency across the organization. This position requires strong problem-solving skills, high accountability, and excellent communication in English (C1 or higher), as you’ll be collaborating with U.S.-based teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain backend scripts and services using Python for automation and integrations.
• Strong experience monitoring systems in production to detect edge cases.
• Excellent knowledge of techniques for manual and automated testing.
• Help define with stakeholders software requirements under Agile and Kanban methodologies.
• Communicate proactively updates and blockers to managers..
• Optimize for software performance and track costs of deployed solutions.
• Secure software projects according to HIPAA regulations.
• Design, implement, and monitor ETL/data synchronization processes.
• Automate workflows using GitHub Actions, cron jobs, or similar tools.
• Document processes clearly and provide technical support to internal stakeholders when needed.
• Participate in system design and software peer review.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 3–5 years of professional backend development experience.
• Proficient in Python for scripting and automation.
• Strong hands-on experience with REST APIs.
• Basic understanding of AI engineering.
• Ability to think about software behavior over time to fix preemptively failure modes.
• Awareness of software vulnerabilities and how to prevent them.
• Experience with Git and collaborative version control.
• Background in ETL/data synchronization workflows.
• Exposure to automation tools such as GitHub Actions or cron jobs.
• Experience working under a formal project management framework.
• English fluency at C1 level or higher (written and spoken).
• Proven ability to work independently in a remote setup.
• Own computer and reliable high-speed internet connection.

Nice to Have:

• Familiarity with Open Dental or other practice management systems.
• Experience with Azure.

Compensation: USD $1,500-$2,000 monthly.

Working hours: 8:00 A.M. - 5 P.M. CST
