Jr Claims Handler

We are looking for a graduated lawyer with an interest in Insurance law and knowledge of  civil and/or commercial law, eager to learn and grow professionally.

This position is based in our Bogotá office in Colombia.

Responsibilities:

• Manage recovery claims according to legal proceedings with efficiency and proactiveness. 
• Provide legal counsel, negotiate settlements and update clients on the status of their claims. 
• Suggest actions and put them into practice in order to increase our penetration in different markets and improve results. 
• Work with surveyors and correspondents on effectively safeguarding client’s rights and protecting available jurisdictions. 
• Support the Specialist and Country Manager in different matters related to the operation 

Requirements:

• At least 1 years of experience in Insurance or Reinsurance Companies, MGAs, Brokers (not mandatory).  
• Candidates must hold a Law degree.  
• Fluent English (oral and written).
