Account Representative- Canada support
We are seeking a talented individual to join our team at Marsh McLennan. This role will be based in Bogotá. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
As an Account Representative, you will enhance the client experience by proactively managing the administration of a book of accounts and ensuring a successful renewal process in collaboration with your Client Service Team (CST). You will provide support to Client Executives, ensuring a high level of client satisfaction by reviewing insurance contracts and responding to client inquiries. You will strengthen and maintain relationships with clients and client teams, driving growth and retention through exceptional service.
This role provides an opportunity to further develop your skills at Marsh exposing you to many areas of the company, senior leaders, and various aspects of commercial insurance that will allow you to expand your network, gain valuable knowledge and enhance your skills.

We will count on you to:
- Strengthens and maintain relationships with clients and client teams to provide best in class service and drive growth and retention.
- Proactively manage the administration of a book of accounts including document tracking and delivery, managing timelines, and ensuring quality deliverables.
- Administer routine tasks as part of the annual renewal cycle, ensuring all client needs are met timely and accurately.
- Participate in client and carrier facing activities, maintaining a good working knowledge of client operations and insurance programs.
- Work with Operations and Business to ensure timely delivery of policies, endorsements, audits, extensions, and cancellations to clients.
- Work closely with the Client Executives to provide day-to-day account support.
- Adhere to all Marsh compliance, professional, and transparency standards.
- 2 years of experience in account management, customer service, customer support, administrative assistant or a related field. (flexible but some experience with client management).
- Must be fluent in English (spoken and written).
- Associate´s or Bachelor’s Degree.
- Must have excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Attention to detail is critical to ensure we are providing accurate information to our clients.
- Insurance or relevant industry experience of 12 to 18 months.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Be able to work in an agile, autonomous, and proactive manner to guarantee we are providing excellent service to our clients.
- Strong collaborative skills with the ability to effectively build and maintain positive working relationships with management, colleagues and clients through verbal and written communication.
- Ability to quickly learn and implement technical concepts.
- Microsoft Office proficiency: Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook – intermediate knowledge of Excel formulas and pivot tables.
