We are conducting a confidential search on behalf of a leading multinational company operating in the industrial sector.

As part of its continued growth in Colombia, the company is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead the local finance function and partner with regional leadership in driving financial excellence, business performance, and strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the overall finance function for the Colombian operation.
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with IFRS and Colombian regulations.
• Develop budgets, forecasts, financial analyses, and executive reports to support business decisions.
• Manage treasury operations, cash flow planning, banking relationships, and foreign currency transactions.
• Oversee tax compliance and coordinate external audits and regulatory requirements.
• Strengthen internal controls, financial governance, and risk management processes.
• Partner with regional and global finance teams on reporting, planning, and strategic initiatives.
• Lead, coach, and develop the local finance team.
• Drive continuous improvement and process optimization across the finance function.

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
• CPA or internationally recognized certifications (ACCA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent) are highly desirable.

Experience

• Minimum 10 years of progressive finance experience.
• At least 5 years leading finance teams.
• Previous experience in multinational companies is required.
• Experience in manufacturing, industrial, engineering, construction, or heavy equipment industries is highly desirable.

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of IFRS and Colombian accounting and tax regulations.
• Extensive experience in financial planning, budgeting, treasury, and internal controls.
• ERP experience (SAP preferred).
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong analytical, financial modeling, and problem-solving capabilities.

Languages

• Advanced English is mandatory. Candidates must be able to communicate effectively with international stakeholders and prepare executive-level reports in English.
