Position Overview & Purpose
This position will support the local marketing strategy by executing campaigns, coordinating nationwide events, and managing integrated brand communications for both internal and external audiences. All efforts must be aligned with Cochlear's regional and global marketing strategy.
Essential Functions
- Support the execution of the marketing strategy in Colombia and Coordinate national events and support activities involving healthcare professionals, users, and candidates.
- Execute advertising and communication campaigns at a tactical level.
- Maintain continuous communication with the Sales, Concierge, and Clinical teams.
- Manage the approval workflow, create events in Cvent, and monitor budget execution.
- Negotiate with vendors and generate purchase orders.
- Work closely with event and design agencies.
Accountabilities
- Event Coordination and HCP Engagement
- Search and secure locations for events.
- Request, analyze, and manage quotations.
- Coordinate logistics with agencies.
- Create and publish communication campaigns associated with events.
- Coordinate speakers and guests in accordance with compliance guidelines.
- Manage Cvent and Salesforce Healthcloud.
- Ensure proper budget execution for each event.
- Coordinate all internal teams involved before, during, and after the event.
- Campaign Execution
- Create campaign materials and graphic assets ensuring correct brand usage.
- Support regional implementation of product cycles.
- Coordinate the distribution of marketing materials for the national commercial team.
- Administrative Tasks
- Request quotations and generate purchase orders.
- Monitor budget execution and negotiate with vendors.
- Create events in Cvent and manage campaigns in Salesforce Healthcloud.
Minimum Key Incumbent Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, business administration, communications, or related fields.
- At least 2 years of experience in marketing roles, preferably within multinational companies.
- Experience coordinating corporate events.
- Intermediate English
- Availability to travel nationwide.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
The ideal candidate understands the fundamentals of event organization, market research, and benchmarking, as well as the creation of agency briefs and communication campaign design. Can coordinate end-to-end logistics for corporate events, including location scouting, field visits, supplier negotiations, quotation management, and post-event follow-up. They are proficient in budget management, supplier oversight, and tactical campaign execution, ensuring proper brand usage and regional alignment.
They bring previous experience in event organization or execution, campaign planning and execution, and collaboration with suppliers and agencies. They are motivated by leading events from start to finish, seeing their ideas come to life, and contributing to national campaigns across multiple audiences. They enjoy working with multidisciplinary teams in a regional context, contributing organization, creativity, and strong execution skills focused on results.
