Senior .NET Full Stack Developer – C# / Angular

Position Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior .NET Full Stack Developer to join our Payment Integrity team in Bogotá, Colombia. In this hands-on engineering role, you will design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable enterprise healthcare applications using C#, .NET, ASP.NET Core, Angular, TypeScript, and SQL Server. You will contribute to technical architecture, application modernization, and engineering best practices while collaborating with global delivery teams.

The ideal candidate combines strong full stack development expertise with technical leadership, problem-solving capabilities, and a commitment to software quality. You will also support CGI's AI-first delivery approach by leveraging AI-assisted development tools to improve engineering productivity, testing, and documentation.

Work arrangement: On-site at CGI's Bogotá office

How you'll make an impact

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise applications using C#, .NET, ASP.NET Core, Angular, TypeScript, and SQL Server
• Build responsive, secure frontend applications and scalable RESTful APIs, backend services, and data integration components
• Develop and optimize SQL Server databases, stored procedures, queries, and data access layers using Entity Framework Core or similar ORM technologies
• Contribute to solution architecture, technical design, application modernization, and cloud integration initiatives while applying SOLID principles and secure coding standards
• Lead technical code reviews, troubleshoot complex application issues, optimize performance, and mentor junior and mid-level developers
• Develop and maintain unit, integration, API, and automated regression tests to ensure application quality, reliability, and maintainability
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot and Gemini Code Assist to support coding, debugging, testing, refactoring, and documentation while validating AI-generated outputs
• Collaborate with architects, business analysts, QA engineers, and distributed development teams to translate healthcare Payment Integrity requirements into reliable technical solutions
• Support Agile delivery activities, including sprint planning, estimation, backlog refinement, technical documentation, and coordination with onshore and offshore teams
• Implement and promote engineering best practices for application security, observability, logging, monitoring, scalability, and continuous improvement
  
  

What you'll bring

• Minimum of 5 years of professional software development experience with strong hands-on expertise in C#, .NET, ASP.NET Core, Web API, and object-oriented programming
• Strong experience developing modern web applications using Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, relational database design, SQL optimization, stored procedures, and Entity Framework Core or comparable ORM technologies
• Proven experience designing, developing, and integrating RESTful APIs, backend services, and enterprise application components
• Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, SOLID principles, secure coding practices, and application performance optimization
• Experience with Git, source control workflows, automated testing, debugging, and application troubleshooting
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments and collaborating with geographically distributed engineering teams
• Demonstrated ability to contribute to technical design decisions, conduct code reviews, and provide technical guidance to other developers
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with technical and business stakeholders
• Ability to work on-site at CGI's Bogotá, Colombia office
  
  

Desired Qualifications / Strongly Preferred

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
• Experience with .NET 6, .NET 8 or later, and cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or comparable DevOps technologies
• Familiarity with microservices, event-driven architecture, distributed systems, and application modernization initiatives
• Experience in healthcare, health insurance, claims processing, Payment Integrity, or financial systems, including familiarity with HIPAA and applicable healthcare data security requirements
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Gemini Code Assist, or similar technologies to improve software engineering productivity
