About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Intelligence Developer / Data Analyst to join our team in Medellín. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transforming data into meaningful insights, developing dashboards, and supporting data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, etc.
• Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from multiple sources into data warehouses.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and understand business requirements.
• Analyze data trends and provide actionable insights to business teams.
• Optimize and maintain database queries and data models.
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across reports.
• Support ad hoc data analysis and reporting requests.
• Document processes, data flows, and reporting logic.
• Monitor dashboard and reporting performance, identify bottlenecks, and optimize queries, data models, and BI solutions for improved usability and efficiency.
• Implement data quality checks and validation processes to identify inconsistencies, resolve reporting issues, and maintain reliable business intelligence outputs.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analysis, or related roles.
• Strong experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
• Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
• Experience with data modeling and ETL processes.
• Familiarity with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Knowledge of Python or R for data analysis.
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts (Snowflake, Redshift, Big Query).
• Experience working in Agile environments.
