The Data Strategy & reporting Manager will lead the development, governance, and optimization of PHSU’s institutional data ecosystem. This role is responsible for collecting, cleaning, organizing, and integrating data from multiple university systems—including Jenzabar, Salesforce, Anthology, and Element451—into a centralized data warehouse or data lake solution. The position will ensure that data is accurate, accessible, and actionable for strategic, operational, and executive decision-making across the institution.The ideal candidate blends strong technical skills with an ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional academic, enrollment, finance, and marketing teams. They will also create a consistent institutional reporting framework, including quarterly strategic updates, monthly performance dashboards, weekly operational metrics, and daily platform-powered snapshots.

Key ResponsibilitiesData Integration & Architecture
- Assess current data sources (Jenzabar, Salesforce CRM, Anthology, Element451, marketing platforms, KPI trackers, etc.) and define an end-to-end integration strategy.
- Lead the implementation of a modern data warehouse or data lake solution (Azure, AWS, Snowflake, etc.).
- Build and maintain data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes to ensure continuous, accurate data flow.
- Map data fields across systems and ensure standardized definitions and naming conventions.
- Integrate new platforms, applications, and data sources as PHSU’s technology ecosystem evolves.
- Clean, transform, and validate datasets to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
- Develop data governance policies, including data definitions, metadata, and data stewardship standards.
- Maintain data dictionaries and documentation for internal teams.
- Prevent data duplication and data integrity issues across platforms.
- Work closely with Enrollment, Academics, Marketing, Finance, IT, and Institutional Research.
- Lead working sessions on data mapping and requirements gathering.
- Translate business needs into technical specifications and analytics outputs.
- Provide training to functional teams on dashboards, metrics, and definitions.
- Build a standardized and scalable reporting ecosystem that includes:
- Quarterly Strategic Report: high-level KPIs, market trends, campaign performance, academic outcomes, and strategic indicators.
- Monthly Strategic Performance Report: progress toward goals, YTD comparisons, funnel health, academic metrics, financial indicators.
- Weekly Operational Report: metrics for enrollment funnel, marketing performance, academics, and student services.
- Daily Reports: automated, platform-generated snapshots for daily operations.
- Design dashboards, scorecards, and automated reports using BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, etc.).
- Ensure leadership and teams have real-time visibility into KPIs and trends.
- Build forecasting models and goal-tracking frameworks.
- Partner with Marketing to centralize investment, campaign, and channel-performance data.
