Allied Global is looking for an experienced Lead Software Engineer to join an international team developing modern enterprise applications on Microsoft Azure.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced engineer who enjoys combining technical leadership, software architecture, and hands-on development while working on cloud-native applications, APIs, and enterprise modernization initiatives.

What You'll Do

• Lead and mentor software engineering teams following Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise applications using Microsoft Azure.
• Build modern backend services, REST APIs, and cloud-native applications.
• Develop modern web applications using React and JavaScript technologies.
• Define software architecture and technical solutions for enterprise platforms.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality software.
• Drive cloud migration and modernization initiatives.
• Ensure best practices in code quality, security, performance, and scalability.
• Participate in technical decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support Power Platform solutions when required.

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Previous experience as a Technical Lead, Lead Software Engineer, or Senior Software Engineer.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Azure.
• Experience developing backend applications using Python, Go, or JavaScript.
• Strong frontend experience with React.js.
• Experience building REST APIs.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployments.
• Strong software architecture and system design skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
