Financial Management & Reporting
- Perform all accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting across U.S. and Latin American operations.
- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP (and local GAAP/IFRS where applicable).
- Develop and maintain financial models that support revenue planning, margin analysis, and cash flow management for a services-based business.
- Manage tax planning, filings, and compliance across multiple Latin American jurisdictions — including transfer pricing, withholding taxes, VAT/IVA, and local invoicing requirements.
- Ensure compliance with country-specific regulations for billing, revenue recognition, and intercompany transactions across Latin America and the Caribbean.
- Serve as the primary liaison with external auditors, tax advisors, and legal counsel in each operating country.
- Oversee cash flow planning, foreign currency exposure, and banking relationships across the region.
- Manage accounts receivable and collections for clients operating on varied payment cycles and currencies.
- Implement controls to mitigate DFX5 risk and optimize working capital.
- Build and refine financial processes, internal controls, and ERP/accounting systems to support a scaling organization.
- Own vendor and contractor payment operations, ensuring timely and compliant disbursements across borders.
- Partner with Sales and Delivery leadership to structure deal economics, pricing models, and client contracts with sound financial discipline.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. CPA, CMA, or equivalent professional certification strongly preferred.
- Minimum 6 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting, including at least 2 years in a Senior Accountant or leadership role.
- Proven experience managing finance operations for a company doing business in Latin America — you understand the regulatory, tax, and billing landscapes across multiple countries.
- Deep working knowledge of multi-country tax compliance, transfer pricing, invoicing regulations, and revenue recognition standards in Latin American markets.
- Hands-on experience with U.S. GAAP; familiarity with IFRS and local accounting standards is a plus.
- Proficiency in ERP and accounting platforms (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, or similar).
- Bilingual: fluent in English and Spanish (written and spoken).
- Big 4 public accounting experience (Deloitte, EY, KPMG, or PwC) — especially in audit, tax, or advisory practices serving Latin American markets.
- Experience in technology services, SaaS, or cloud/IT consulting businesses.
- MBA or Master's degree in Finance, Taxation, or Business Administration.
- Familiarity with AWS Partner economics, marketplace transactions, or hyperscaler channel models.
- Prior experience building a finance function from the ground up in a high-growth or startup environment.
- Growth with impact. You won't manage a spreadsheet in a corner; you'll shape the financial backbone of a company expanding across 20+ markets.
- Executive visibility. Report directly to the CEO and influence decisions from pricing strategy to market entry.
- Cloud & AI at the core. Join a company riding the most powerful wave in enterprise technology.
- Build, don't maintain. This is a builder's role. You'll design and execute the processes, and put your stamp on how DFX5 scales.
