About The Role

We are looking for a Senior Revit Electrical Drafter with extensive experience creating detailed electrical BIM models and construction documentation using Autodesk Revit.

This role is focused on electrical drafting and BIM execution, ensuring accurate, high-quality deliverables that meet project requirements and schedules. The ideal candidate has experience working on complex commercial, industrial, healthcare, data center, or mission-critical projects and can independently produce detailed electrical models while supporting and reviewing the work of junior BIM drafters.

The Lead Drafter will act as the main point of communication with the client team, providing updates, clarifying drafting requirements, and ensuring the BIM team delivers accurate and timely results.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed electrical BIM models and construction documentation in Autodesk Revit based on provided design direction.
• Develop electrical models for power, lighting, and related systems while following project standards and requirements.
• Produce accurate, construction-ready drawings and documentation up to LOD 500.
• Review and quality-check work completed by junior BIM drafters to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with project standards.
• Monitor project progress and help ensure drafting deliverables remain on schedule.
• Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to junior BIM team members.
• Identify drafting issues, coordination challenges, or missing information and communicate them effectively to the client team.
• Serve as the primary communication point between the BIM drafting team and the client regarding project updates, questions, and deliverables.
• Support BIM coordination efforts for complex commercial and mission-critical infrastructure projects.
• Help establish and maintain drafting best practices and quality standards within the team.
  
  

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience using Autodesk Revit for electrical BIM modeling and drafting.
• Extensive experience creating electrical models for power, lighting, and related systems.
• Proven experience delivering detailed electrical BIM models and construction documentation up to LOD 500.
• Experience working on large-scale commercial, industrial, healthcare, data center, or other complex infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of electrical construction documentation and how drawings translate into real-world installation.
• Experience reviewing, coordinating, or mentoring the work of junior BIM drafters.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain quality while working under project deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, as this role will communicate directly with clients.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and keep projects moving forward.
  
  

Nice to Have

• Field installation experience or construction background.
• Experience working with electrical contractors or installation teams.
• Experience with the Evolve Revit plug-in.
• Experience with mission-critical facilities such as data centers, hospitals, or large infrastructure projects.
• Familiarity with BIM coordination workflows and quality control processes.
