Copywriter & Content Writer - Part-time (20 hrs/week)

About The Company

Our US-based client is a boutique advisory firms that integrate governance, legal strategy, and behavioral science to help boards, executives, and investors anticipate risk and strengthen decision-making. We operate across the U.S., Africa, Europe, and Latin America.

Responsibilities

• Research, write, and edit high-quality long-form articles, reports, white papers, and thought leadership content that reflect the firm's expertise and the founder's voice.
• Translate complex topics—including AI governance, compliance, legal strategy, and professional services—into clear, engaging, and accessible content for executive audiences.
• Collaborate closely with the Founder and Director of Strategic Initiatives to develop ideas, refine messaging, and ensure consistency with the firm's brand and voice.
• Edit and refine existing content for clarity, structure, and impact.
• Repurpose long-form content into shorter formats when appropriate.
• Provide occasional LinkedIn content support by adapting articles into posts and assisting
  
  

with content planning as needed (lower priority).

• Stay informed about industry trends and incorporate relevant insights into written
  
  

content.

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of experience in copywriting, content writing, journalism, or a similar role.
• Strong experience writing long-form content such as articles, reports, white papers, or thought leadership pieces.
• Exceptional writing and editing skills in English, with the ability to adapt tone to match a founder's voice.
• Experience writing for professional audiences (e.g., consulting, legal, finance, technology, or professional services).
• Ability to simplify technical or complex concepts into compelling, reader-friendly content.
• Experience conducting research and synthesizing information into well-structured written pieces.
• Familiarity with LinkedIn content creation is a plus, but not the primary focus of the role.
• Highly organized and able to manage a flexible, output-driven workload (20 hours/week).
• Proactive communicator, comfortable collaborating directly with founders or senior stakeholders.
• Exposure to AI governance, regulatory topics, wealth management, compliance, professional services, or related industries is a strong plus.
  
  

Schedule

This is a part-time role (20 hours per week) with flexible working hours, structured around clearly defined objectives.

Compensation: $600-$1,000 USD/month

PTO policy

You'll have 12 business days of paid time off (PTO) per year as a starting point. You may also take time off to observe holidays, which should be coordinated in advance with the company to ensure coverage of your responsibilities.
