MPL Operation Agent
The MPL Operations Agent has the ownership of the operational execution across Ocean and Logistics and is responsible for file creation, coordination and closure of shipment files. Perform invoicing, job costing/file management, ICB charges and WF handling.

Key Responsibilities
- Creation and execution of customer shipments according to the implementation plan and customer requirements with regards to QHSE and reporting
- Understanding of external factors impacting Customer’s supply Chain & understand their sense of urgency, service needs, drivers and desires.
- Ability to align with customer expectations upfront & to be able to respond with suggested solutions
- Be the primary point of contact for own customers and ensure smooth execution of the end-to-end shipment lifecycle, including the inland delivery, by working closely with the customer as well as internal stakeholders.
- Proactively track shipments and notify customers of relevant deviations from the transport plan, including potential solutions or alternatives.
- Onboard customers and build strong and collaborative relationships, with willingness to go the extra mile towards the customers & with focus on providing solutions.
- Liaising and preparing transport plan with suppliers
- Ensures delivery of value proposition to all customer segments through ensuring on-time and correct invoicing of jobs to customers, including internal customers (ICBs) and correct and soft/hard close of jobs on time, with large scope and/or complexity.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in related roles such as Customer Service for Logistics companies.
- Experience handling operations in general cargo logistics services and general cargo transportation.
- Background in project cargo is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with negotiation terms and INCOTERMS.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Very organized, proactive and dynamic.
- Understanding of the local regulations
