Senior Ruby & Ruby on Rails Engineer at BairesDev

As a Senior Ruby & Ruby on Rails Engineer, you will build and maintain robust server-side web applications. You will serve as a key technical contributor, translating business requirements into highly efficient, scalable database schemas and APIs.

What You'll Do

• Design and implement scalable, high-performance web applications and backend services.
• Optimize server-side logic and database interactions to ensure application speed and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate secure, well-structured RESTful APIs.
• Lead version control workflows and establish best practices for code quality and deployments.
• Translate complex product requirements into clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
  
  

What We Are Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in Software Engineering, Ruby development, or a related field.
• Proven expertise in Ruby on Rails and database management with PostgreSQL or MySQL.
• Strong hands-on experience with Object-Relational Mapping (ORM) using RoR Active Record.
• Solid understanding of designing and implementing RESTful APIs.
• Proficiency with version control systems, specifically GitHub.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
