Job Title: BI Developer / Analyst

About The Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical BI Developer/Analyst to join our team in Medellín. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transforming data into meaningful insights, developing dashboards, and supporting data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
• Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from multiple sources into data warehouses
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and understand business requirements
• Analyze data trends and provide actionable insights to business teams
• Optimize and maintain database queries and data models
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across reports
• Support ad hoc data analysis and reporting requests
• Document processes, data flows, and reporting logic
  
  

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analysis, or related roles
• Strong experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker
• Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation
• Experience with data modeling and ETL processes
• Familiarity with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Knowledge of Python or R for data analysis
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery)
• Experience working in Agile environments
