Jr Sourcer Intern

Job Summary

Sourcing Specialist responsibilities include searching social networks and portfolio sites to identify potential candidates, sending recruiting emails, and organizing an effective employee referral system. To be successful in this role, you should combine knowledge of sourcing techniques with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ultimately, you will be responsible for building a strong talent pipeline for our company’s current and future staffing needs.

Responsibilities

• Use social media networks (e.g., LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter) to look for and connect with potential candidates.
• Review online portfolios and resumes to pre-screen candidates.
• Collaborate with recruiters to identify each position’s requirements.
• Send recruiting emails and follow up with candidates.
• Ask for referrals from internal and external networks for hard-to-fill roles.
• Contact past applicants for new job opportunities.
• Develop a network of potential candidates and industry professionals.
• Log candidate information in our Applicant Tracking System and other internal databases.
• Identify future hiring needs and proactively source potential hires

Skills And Experience

• English – Spanish Language (Oral and written B2+ or above).
• I must have a high school diploma.
• Studies in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to effectively learn new processes.
• Tech-savvy and comfortable learning new tools and systems
• Collaborative mindset with a willingness to learn and take initiative.
• Comfortable working in a high-volume/high-demand environment.
• Familiarity with LinkedIn, Indeed, and other sourcing platforms is a plus.
• Flexibility to work with different stakeholders across time zones.
• Good presentation and a polite, tactful, and friendly character.
