The Talent Manager will be an integral member of the Spanish South American (SSA) People team while supporting business objectives of the region and growth of the Consulting team through the coordination of Staffing and Career Development processes. Will be in charge of a team of 5 people, based in different offices
Job Responsibilities

Case Economics Management
- Work with Managing Directors, Partners, Principals and Project Leaders to understand upcoming projects, expected staffing requirements and consolidate projects pipeline
- Properly liaise with Finance Team to weekly follow case economics, billability of the teams, offices plans and capacity indicators
- Prepare materials and attend Revenue Assurance meetings to understand offices investments and properly incorporate them in staffing processes and strategy
- Work with other HR functions to incorporate vacations, trainings and flexible working models in capacity management
- Regularly meet with SSA consulting team (Project Leaders, Principals and Partner) to understand their staffing needs and preferences, and advise them on upcoming projects according to their career path
- Regularly meet with Practice area nodes, to aligne future plans and career decisions for Partner, Principals and Project Leaders
- Advise and assist the talent coordinators in the staffing scenarios definition for projects and proposals, considering business needs, staff developments areas, consultants interests and staffing rules
- Discuss projects staffing with projects leadership, Practice area nodes and staffing Partner as needed to confirm best suitable project team
- Communicate all along the staffing process and decisions to consulting team, handling difficult conversations as necessary
- Communicate all along the staffing process with Consulting Team, HR, Operations and Finance departments
- Properly communicates on staffing pipeline to consulting team, underlining critical projects
- Balance the needs of partners, clients and consultants in making all decisions
- Understand and oversee mobility legal process, ensuring local compliance with visa immigration laws, working with local HR responsible, external providers and sending/receiving offices
- Adequately backup and coordinate team efforts at SSA (Spanish South America) scale – ensuring appropriate level of response in any of our four offices (Bogotá, Lima, Santiago, Buenos Aires)
- Maintain accurate records of staffing assignments and pipeline in relevant systems/tools
- Ensure appropriate reporting: capacity consolidation, bottlenecks report, staffing report with staffing KPI’s
- Continuously monitor SSA staffing rules, processes and tools and propose improvements when needed
- Ensure appropriate communication on staffing processes for all SSA offices
- Take on special projects and support the SSA staffing team with ad hoc analyses
- Lead international initiatives as requested (digital platform, PA staffing, etc.)
- Liaise with international counterparts to lead or support international staffing requests
- Maintain accurate records of Career Development Committees’ results in relevant systems/tools for Project Leaders and Principals
- Oversee the overall CT career development process with the talent team
- Regularly meet with consulting team to understand career perspectives, needs and questions
- Timely plan and organize Career Development Committees, including logistics
- Prepare CD Committees documentations and statistics
- Work closely with CD Advisors to draft Career Development synthesis through information shared from evaluations and discussions with Principals and Project Leaders as well as action plans after the Committees
- Support bonus process
- Compile and review various HR statistics and overviews
- Support all CD related topics, such as MBA sponsorships, international programs or flexibility models
- Take part in various HR initiatives and projects
- Support Career Development process for other cohorts, as requested
- Define and set the talent team priorities for the year, aligned with the people agenda and the constant improvement
- Allocate work effectively across the team to balance capacity, expertise, and development needs
- Actively coach the team through regular check-ins, feedback and developmental conversations, identifying strengths, areas for development and long term career plans
- Lead performance evaluations, calibration discussions, and promotion recommendations.
- Foster an inclusive, collaborative, and psychologically safe team environment, encouraging open dialogue, knowledge sharing, and peer coaching.
- Lead change effectively, supporting the team through periods of growth, ambiguity, or transformation.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- Post-graduate degree would be nice to have
- Minimum 5 years of work experience, preferably in a professional services firm or a Multinational Corporation
- Strong interest in Human Resources management and in business partnership of HR topics
- Fluent English and Spanish, oral and written
- Confident in the use of Excel and Powerpoint
- Absolute trustworthiness combined with perfect discretion and strong sense of responsibility
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to influence others
- Strong team player
- Excellent analytical capabilities and numerical reasoning
- Flexibility to work in an environment that has short-term shifts in priorities to meet a diverse customer base
- Able to handle pressure
- Strong drive and hunger to achieve results
- Highly conscientious and structured work style, with strong attention to detail
