Principal Software Engineer (Python + AWS) at BairesDev

In this role, you'll provide senior technical direction for API-driven products used by partners. You'll stay hands-on while guiding engineers and architecture decisions across teams.

What You'll Do

• Define and evolve the architecture of partner-facing APIs, including versioning, authentication, and rate limits.
• Design and build data products and APIs from scratch.
• Guide the technical direction of SaaS and API-as-a-Service offerings on AWS.
• Apply serverless and DevOps practices to support reliable delivery.
• Mentor engineers and promote sound design practices across teams.
  
  

What We Are Looking For

• 10+ years of experience with Python and either C#/.NET or Java.
• Background designing partner-facing APIs, including versioning, authentication, and rate limiting.
• Track record delivering SaaS or API-as-a-Service products.
• Knowledge of cloud architecture, particularly on AWS (Azure or GCP also welcome).
• Familiarity with serverless architectures, DevOps practices, and API gateways.
• Advanced level of English.
