IT Talent Sourcer – Temporary Position

What's the role about?

As a LATAM-based IT Talent Sourcer, you will join Devlane's distributed Talent Acquisition team, helping connect our clients across the US and Canada with top tech talent in Latin America.

This is a temporary position for approximately 4.5 months, covering a maternity leave. Your main focus will be to accelerate and optimize the initial stages of our recruitment funnel.

We're looking for a highly analytical and proactive professional with hands-on experience in IT sourcing, who can manage high volumes of applications, leverage our existing talent database, and use AI-powered tools to streamline sourcing activities and build effective talent pipelines.

What do we require from you?

• At least 2 years of dedicated experience as an IT Talent Sourcer, specifically focused on sourcing activities rather than generalist or full-cycle recruitment responsibilities.
• Advanced English proficiency (mandatory).
• Proven experience sourcing technical profiles, preferably within software development companies, IT consulting firms, or Staff Augmentation businesses.
• Strong hands-on experience with LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, Boolean search techniques, and talent databases.
• Practical experience using AI tools to optimize sourcing activities and candidate management.
• Experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS). Previous experience with Teamtailor is a strong plus.
• Availability to work fully remotely, following either a 9 AM–5 PM or 10 AM–6 PM schedule (Uruguay time), for the full 4.5-month contract period.
• Nice to have: Experience managing high-volume recruitment pipelines and familiarity with automation tools or candidate nurturing campaigns.
  
  

Key Responsibilities

• Review applications received through job postings, referrals, and other sources, quickly identifying candidates who meet the initial requirements for each position.
• Develop and execute proactive sourcing strategies using LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search strings, and other platforms to identify qualified tech talent.
• Search for and reconnect with relevant candidates already in our ATS (Teamtailor), maximizing the value of our existing talent pool.
• Handle the operational setup of new searches, including opening positions in the ATS, creating screening questions, publishing jobs on platforms such as Indeed, and requesting technical assessments.
• Identify, organize, and maintain pools of potential candidates for current and future hiring needs.
• Leverage ATS features to launch candidate nurturing campaigns and maintain engagement with potential candidates.
• Work closely with Recruiters to understand role requirements, align sourcing criteria, and deliver qualified candidates for the interview stage.
• Explore new sourcing strategies, identify opportunities for improvement, and leverage AI tools to reduce manual tasks and streamline top-of-funnel activities.
• Keep candidate and sourcing data up to date in the ATS while monitoring key performance indicators, including applications reviewed, qualified candidates identified, and sourcing channel effectiveness.
