The controlling Analyst Support the Andean Region Business Controller by ensuring the timely preparation, validation, and analysis of accurate financial and operational information for the Cartagena Plant (CTG) and the Market Units.

The role is responsible for the reliable execution of recurring controlling processes, financial monitoring of investments and projects, and preparation of reports for local, regional, and global stakeholders. By transforming information from multiple sources into consistent and traceable reporting, the Controlling Analyst enables effective performance monitoring and supports fact-based decision-making.

This position offers the opportunity to gain broad exposure to the business by working closely with financial, operational, commercial and corporate stakeholders. The Controlling Analyst will contribute to the quality of financial information across a diverse regional scope, while developing experience in plant performance, Market Units, investment monitoring, reporting processes and continuous improvement initiatives. The role is well suited for a finance professional who combines analytical rigor, curiosity, collaboration and an interest in using digital tools to improve the way information is processed and analyzed.

Responsibilities

Support the Business Controller in the consolidation, validation and analysis of financial and operational information for CTG and the Andean Market Units.

Ensure the timely and accurate execution of recurring controlling processes that impact monthly, quarterly and annual reporting.

Prepare management information and performance reports to support business reviews, financial visibility and fact-based decision-making.

Monitor the financial performance of investments and projects, including CAPEX execution, forecast updates, capitalization processes and project-related reporting.

Support internal control, compliance and tax-related processes by ensuring the quality, traceability and timely delivery of relevant financial information.

Support on key improvement and strategic iniciatives/projects defined by the Business Unit.

Coordinate with Accounting, Tax, Operations, Project Owners, Market teams and corporate stakeholders to ensure the completeness and consistency of reported information.

Support and guide local controlling teams whenever they need it, especially when changes are implemented (includes deadline reminders quality checks and general questions about procedures).

Support reporting requirements for CTG, YGP and other regional and global stakeholders.

Follow up on Capital Expenditures with YPPM tool.

Identify opportunities to standardize, simplify and improve controlling processes, reporting routines and data quality.

Support in annual business plan process.

Profile

University degree in Finance/Economics/Business Administration/Industrial Engineering or related field, Strong analytical skills, logical reasoning and a structured approach, Advanced in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint), Knowledge of SAP

Intermediate Accounting, Knowledge in Accounting reconciliations, Financial Mathematics, Spirit of collaboration and curiosity.

English (intermediate to advanced level), Spanish (fluent)

2-4 years of experience in Controlling, Financial Analysis, Accounting, FP&A or a related finance role. Experience in financial reporting, closing processes, budgeting, project follow-up or performance analysis. Experience in a multinational or industrial environment is desirable.

Strong sense of accountability, confidentiality and attention to detail. Ability to manage recurring deadlines and changing priorities in a dynamic environment. Collaborative mindset and willingness to work with cross-functional teams. Interest in continuous improvement, automation and the practical use of digital tools to enhance controlling processes.

Additional Information

Strong analytical skills and solid understanding of financial and management reporting.

Ability to consolidate, validate and interpret financial and operational data from multiple sources.

Advanced Excel skills and working knowledge of SAP or similar ERP systems.

Familiarity with data visualization and automation tools, such as Power BI, Power Query or similar platforms.

Basic knowledge of SQL, Python or other data analysis tools is desirable as a value-added capability to automate recurring tasks, improve data mining and generate more efficient insights.

Interest in the practical use of artificial intelligence tools to enhance reporting, streamline processes and support decision-making.

Strong attention to detail, organization and ability to manage multiple priorities within reporting deadlines.

Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively with local, regional and global stakeholders.

Proactive approach to continuous improvement and digital transformation.
